After finishing high school, Justyna decided to explore the world and gain new experiences. She took on various jobs to support herself financially before she took a decisive step forward in 2021 by starting her dual study program in Information and Communication Technology in 2021. The choice was far from random – her passion for mathematics and physics, which she developed during her school years, led her to this.
Currently, Justyna is in the final phase of her bachelor’s degree, working on her thesis and preparing for the next chapter in her journey. She plans to continue her education with further studies in mathematics driven by her unwavering curiosity and determination. Justyna has been awarded the Deutschlandstipendium for the second time, which not only highlights her dedication but also shows how much she is valued – it’s an impressive recognition of her accomplishments.

In 2021, directly after graduating, Xenia began her degree in Computer Science at the University of Leipzig. She didn’t just want to study the theory, so she started looking for a working student position. That marked the beginning of her ipoque journey in 2021. Since then, she’s been gaining a lot of experience in data science and machine learning, and insights into how a software company operates. Currently, she’s working in the network analytics department while also working on her master’s in Data Science – an exciting field that blends her two passions: computer science and mathematics.
“The field of Data Science fascinates me particularly”, Xenia states. “I can even envision pursuing a doctorate after my studies, whether in research or development.”
Her academic journey and professional experience are already impressive. For her bachelor’s thesis, completed at ipoque, Xenia researched innovative representations of encrypted network traffic combined with deep learning architectures to improve existing network analysis products. Being awarded the Deutschlandstipendium is a meaningful milestone for Xenia.
