Markus Ziegler, who recently joined ipoque, the new fully owned subsidiary of Rohde & Schwarz, and co-founder Hendrik Schulze are the new leading duo at ipoque.
Leipzig, 07 June 2011 – Markus Ziegler, the new CEO, and Hendrik Schulze, co-founder and CTO, form the new ipoque executive team. Markus joined the team from Rohde & Schwarz after the acquisition in May 2011, assuming his new CEO role as a representative of Rohde & Schwarz. In his previous position he was responsible for the International Project Management department of the Rohde & Schwarz Radiomonitoring and Radiolocation Division.
Hendrik continues to head up technological development in his position as CTO and brings into this new era his profound knowledge of the company’s technology and structures. As one of ipoque’s founders, he has been deeply involved in the development of all product lines from the very beginning.

Since May 2011, Markus Ziegler has represented the new owner Rohde & Schwarz as CEO of ipoque. Prior to joining ipoque, he held various positions at Rohde & Schwarz, a leading German electronics specialist for radio and communication technology. In his last position Markus was responsible for the International Project Management department of the Radiomonitoring and Radiolocation Division at Rohde & Schwarz.
Hendrik Schulze, President & CTO
Hendrik Schulze is CTO and co-founder of ipoque and responsible for the strategic development of its various product lines. After receiving his degree in computer science, he led several major research projects on advanced applications of mobile Internet technologies in telemedicine at the University of Leipzig. In 2010, Hendrik and the other ipoque founders received Saxony’s entrepreneur of the year award.
