ipqoue's deep packet inspection technology integrated in phion solutions portfolio for better network security
Innsbruck/Leipzig, February 6, 2007 – ipoque, provider of professional solutions for Internet traffic management and analysis, has signed a license agreement with phion Information Technologies, a company specializing in security and connectivity solutions. The cooperation comprises the integration of ipoque's layer-7 deep packet inspection technology in phion's netfence products. phion's customers will then be able to effectively control applications such as P2P, IM, VoIP and Skype, which consume a lot of network bandwidth and often cause security problems.
