cooperation with Berufsakademie Leipzig successfully started
Leipzig, October 12, 2007 - With the beginning of the new semester ipoque GmbH, provider of professional solutions for Internet traffic management and analysis, trains students as computer scientists (degree: Diplom-Informatiker) in cooperation with the Berufsakademie (BA) Sachsen.
Theoretical and practical terms of the studies alternate every 3 months within this 3-year-BA studies. Therefore the students gain profound practical knowledge in a company in addition to their higher education.
Erik Simon is the first BA student at ipoque and looks forward to this challenge. "I am enthused by the possibility to combine theory and practice." He sees the BA as a clever option in comparison to a traditional tertiary education.
To Dr. Frank Stummer, CFO of ipoque, the advantages are obvious: "This cooperation is a gain for both sides. After the degree we get a high qualified colleague who is already integrated in our team."
Especially in the IT sector the short duration of study is convenient since theoretical knowledge in the fast moving era of internet and multimedia is rapidly obsolescent.
ipoque´s founders are confident with the dual studies system and therefore will offer more apprenticeship training positions in the future.
