Your task:
- Design and development of network applications in C running on Linux systems
Our requirements:
- Excellent C programming skills
- Very good understanding of TCP/IP and Internet application protocols
- Experience in network programming, particularly under Linux, is a plus
- BS or MS in computer science or equivalent

Your tasks:
- Development and optimization, execution and analysis of test cases and scenarios
- Automation of test cases and scenarios
- Setup, operation and maintenance of test platforms and hardware
- Enhancement of the existing test infrastructure
- Design of test plans and test management
- Fault and risk management
- Documentation of above mentioned tasks
Our requirements:
- University degree in computer science or completed IT training
- Several years of work experience in software development or quality assurance / test automation is a plus
- ISTQB Certified Tester or similar qualification preferable
- Excellent understanding of complex systems
- Very good analytic abilities and strong organizational skills
- Experience with networks and understanding of IP-based network protocols
- Experience in at least one programming standard language (C/C++, Java, Python, etc.)
- Profound UNIX knowledge

We are looking for 2 Java Software Engineers for the design and development of next-generation reporting and management components for ipoque’s Internet traffic management systems.
Your task:
- Design and implementation of OSGi-based software to manage network appliances
- Further development of our Java/PostgreSQL-based analysis and reporting software
- Realization, maintenance and documentation of external interfaces like SNMP, SOAP and IPFIX
- Collaboration with web- and hardware teams in order to integrate the components
Our requirements:
- Excellent Java programming skills
- RDBMS proficiency
- Good English language skills
- A structured and independent work approach
- Team spirit
Preferred skills:
- Experience in developing open source software is a big plus (If you have a github account with an appropriate project, we’ll invite you right away!)
- Verifiable knowledge of NoSQL databases or ORM
- Web development or PHP experiences
- Experience with JasperReports or similar engines
- Proficient UNIX knowledge (shell scripting, system integration)

We are looking for 2 students for the further development of ipoque’s network traffic monitoring and analysis systems.
Responsibilities:
- Development of tools and extensions to existing systems that support product development, currently
- Wireshark extensions
- Improvement of automated the QA system
- Improvement and support for our internal protocol test suite
- Support for product development team
- Product and development related research
Required skills:
- Solid programming skills
- Good Linux knowledge
- Good verbal and written English language skills
- Team player with a structured and independent approach to work
- Willingness to learn new things
Preferred skills:
- Solid knowledge in algorithms and data structures
- Good development skills using C, Java, Scripting Languages (Python, Perl) or similar
